Following a successful edition of Jacket Required in July, sportswear label Sergio Tacchini is set to be distributed through 50 key accounts including multi-chains to key independents including Urban Outfitters, Scotts, 80s Casuals, Terraces, Xile, Tsuti, Elements and Henry Brummel.

BB UK Ltd has the sublicense for the brand in the UK and Ireland and has put a full sales and marketing strategy together to relaunch Sergio Tacchini for the current market. Focusing on the three different brand categories; Topline/Lifestyle, Sports lifestyle and Tennis, the brand has a clear distribution structure. This coupled with an integrated marketing plan will enable it to capitalise on the rise of athleisure and the spotlight on heritage sportswear today. By understanding the current trends but looking to the future the brand is clear on how it can evolve and grow moving forward.

“We have a clear strategy over the next five years to grow the brand in the UK and Ireland and create a platform for sustained brand development. There has been a great reaction to SS18 and we will build on this going forward,” says Zubair Mal, Sergio Tacchini UK Sales Manager.

Named after the tennis player himself, Sergio Tacchini founded the brand in the 60s and the rich history continues to inspire the current collections.
